DETAILED APPEARANCE: Chirpsong is nearly the spitting image of her mother, with a spotless white pelt and an amber left eye and blue right eye.

PERSONALITY & DESCRIPTION: They say you can see beauty in a storm. Those with an endless amount of optimism will have no trouble assuring you that there is a light at the end of the tunnel. But it would be difficult for Chirpsong to see what other cats see. Her birth was a lonely affair, with only her mother Cleardawn and the medicine cat in the den at the time as she made her entrance into the world. She didn’t even get the chance to know her mother’s scent before her own senses were overwhelmed by smoke, ripping her away from the only cat who loved her and into a strange place that she shouldn’t have gotten the chance to know. She was only a newborn when a fire ravaged her camp, killing her mother and driving her Clan to WillowClan for shelter. Her eyes were not even open when she was handed to Owlscreech, a WillowClan queen, and the only cat that could properly care for her. It was a long tunnel she was stuck in, only able to make out the frantic murmurings of other cats as she was passed along from cat to cat. There was no possible way for her to remember the horrid experience her clanmates had to go through, with only stories to fall back on. Chirpsong sees nothing wrong with her situation: she has a mother, Owlscreech, a father, Prickthorn, and her siblings: Batpaw, Newtheart, and Webpaw. Cats can tell her again and again what happened, but it is far too difficult for her to understand. In her eyes, she is a WillowClan cat, born to two parents who came together out of love, not out of luck or a moment of weakness. To say Chirpsong is unintelligent is an overstatement, but to say she denies the existence of a past she never knew is far more accurate. She idolizes her position as a WillowClan cat, choosing to believe that she was born there, with her family. Traumatic events don’t truly exist within her consciousness, as she chooses to let them fade into the background in favor of holding her own as the picture of a great warrior. Chirpsong has a strong heart, a fact that is unable to be argued, but she is also unafraid to hold back or drop cats she deems as toxic in her life. It isn’t an uncommon occurrence, which can make her unreliable in personal situations. It is unclear whether she would have been different had Cleardawn lived and raised her in RavenClan, but now, there is no way to know.
