BASIC APPEARANCE: Orange and white she-cat with amber eyes.

DETAILED APPEARANCE: Larchtail has a white pelt with patches of orange. Her fur is bright and vibrant, not at all like her quiet and secretive nature. As much as she loathes this, she is betrayed by her deep amber eyes even more. They look like pools of honey when caught in the light, and they often reflect the vulnerability she tries so hard to hide.

PERSONALITY & DESCRIPTION: Her clan is known for its pride and opinionated nature, and how vastly she's differed from them sometimes leaves her at odds with herself. It's always been easiest for her to stay in the background, and she tries to keep it that way as long as feasibly possible. This natural tendency towards solitude might make her appear unfriendly, and this is aided by the fact that she usually looks serious and doesn't laugh often; it's easy to misunderstand her as indifferent and callous without sufficient knowledge of how she works. While misunderstandings benefit her in some ways, she doesn't like the fact that they might draw her negative attention, and she certainly doesn't want to be lonely. As much as she likes her private time and as good as she is at working alone, she doesn't do well with long periods in isolation. The she-cat longs for the connection she sees among her clanmates, something she thinks she doesn't have. Expressing herself and her emotions has been a struggle for her, and she unknowingly puts down her self-worth, labeling herself only as a cold and apathetic cat. She doesn't recognize her sympathy as anything more than an attempt at trying to be nice. She doesn't see her ability to focus as anything except to distract her from her social failings. She doesn't see the warmth of her concern as anything but being a proper clanmate. While she only sees her shortcomings, she has a lot to be proud of. Larchtail doesn't take any steps without thinking about them, and her patience and the ability to put logic before feelings makes her a great problem-solver. She doesn't hold grudges, and while her feelings are not always clear, she is candid and straightforward. She spends much time figuring out her place in the clan and what she wants in life, but that only means that Larchtail will be certain once she happens upon the answer.
