Auroramist was more conflicted than she ever was before. While she always worried about fitting in with her clan, she knew warrior training felt right... for the most part. There was constant tension with her mentor, but she had friends her own age that she felt comfortable enough with. They kept her on track until it came time for her warrior ceremony.
It would have been surreal to gain her name, but she was distracted ever since that snowy day she spied on Rowanmask. Her mentor was acting strange, which was odd enough, but what was more shocking was seeing her mother at the border, Riowanmask confronting her.
She desperately wanted to run to her, but instinct told her to stay hidden. And she was glad she did.
There was too much she learned that made her question everything. Her own mentor tried to kill her mother and not every clan followed the warrior code--especially the ones that should. Auroramist knew she'd been watched heavily, but some of the most important members of the clan didn't even abide by the rules. If they didn't, what did that mean about her?
Did she even want to be a warrior anymore?
Lost. She was utterly so. Auroramist paced a short distance outside of camp, like she'd been doing for the last few days on end.

Cougarfang had been wondering about Auroramist, the one cat he considered his closest friend, noting how she seemed on edge and tense. He hesitated about bringing it up between them but wanted to comfort her to the best of his ability. Shaking out his fur after coming back from a hunting patrol he searched around the clearing before looking outside the camp.
His eyes blinked at he saw her pacing before he started over "Auroramist" he called as he approached, his ears flicking on his head as he walked, his strides even and tail swaying behind him.

Auroramist didn’t notice Cougarfang at first. Her pace continued restlessly, and she only became aware of the tom when she almost ran into him. “Oh, Cougarfang,” she said after she jumped in surprise. “I didn’t see you there.”
The silence was deafening to her, she could barely stand it. The urge to fill it was too much. “Why are you out here?” she asked uneasily. She realized a moment later that it was a weird question to ask, so she amended it. “I mean... what are you doing? If you’re busy, I don’t want to get in your way...” She started to pace again, failing to realize that it was he that approached her. She knew she was acting strange, but she didn’t know how to bring it up. She couldn’t even consider her thoughts in an orderly manner.

Worry swept thru Cougarfang at Auroramist's behavior as she continued pacing. "Are you okay?" he asked gently, remaining where he was and refusing to back away as she continued pacing, brushing past his fur on every turn. "if something's bothering you maybe I can help" he suggested, just wishing to help his friend, a small niggle in his mind was telling him that he cared for her more than just a friend.

“Ah, well...” Her ears flattened as her mind raced through the implications. What she knew completely changed her perception on RavenClan. If she told Cougarfang, would she ruin what was his only home? His only life? Did she want to put him through that? But at the same time, if she kept everything to herself, she felt like she was going to burst.
Auroramist needed time to decide. She also needed to get further from camp. If she did tell Cougarfang, there wouldn’t be anyone to overhear. If she didn’t, at least she got to clear her mind a little. “I haven’t been the best. Can we take a walk? Get away from camp for a bit? That will help me the most right now.”
