AFFILIATION: Outsider, Loner


BASIC APPEARANCE: Ginger and white tabby tom with amber eyes.

DETAILED APPEARANCE: He is a long haired ginger tabby tom with white toes, chin, chest, belly and tail tip with bright amber eyes.

PERSONALITY & DESCRIPTION: Dante was a relatively calm and collected cat with a streak of playfulness and a fondness for those that he loved and for his clan. That changed dramatically when a fire raged through RavenClan territory, decimating their home and killing many cats in its wake, including his brother, Lightstone, and the love of his life, Frostfawn, who he had yet to admit his feelings to. The time spent in WillowClan, was a time he spent grieving, avoiding camp and strolling through the unfamiliar territory with not a clue as to where he was going or why. He found some solace in talking with a fellow clanmate, Shimmerglade who is the sister to Frostfawn. He found some comfort in one of the few cats who seemed to understand his point of view and why he was avoiding everyone and aiming for isolation. Then the flood came, running through WillowClan territory as mercilessly as the fire had through RavenClan. Dante had watched in horror as his mentor was swept away, unable to be saved, and then learned from others that his father, the last remaining member of his family, had been swept away as well. With all of his family now gone, he completely fell apart, his eyes were empty and his movements were more from habit that any real need to be moving around. When he found out that Shimmerglade was pregnant and he was the father, it was like a slap to the face of what he had done. He had betrayed his love, had betrayed the one cat that he had cared for more deeply than his family. He couldn't seem to grasp the how and the why, he systematically avoided the nursery for the next few moons, doing everything possible to be out of camp and away from the glaring truth of what he had done in his grief. When Rabbitkit was born, he had hesitantly made a visit to the nursery but that turned out to be a mistake, as there lay proof of his guilt. Day after day he spent outside of camp, his thoughts jumbled from both grief of losing his family and guilt at having betrayed Frostfawn before she was even gone a moon. After a while he couldn't take it anymore and took off in the middle of the night, leaving RavenClan for the first time and planning on never returning, he just couldn't stay and be reminded constantly of what he had lost. Dante will never be the same cat that he was but he may just grow into a different cat, one who may be able to finally face everything in his past without breaking apart. He is a ginger and white tom cat with long flowing fur, reminiscent of his father, while the coloring takes after his mother, a reminder to him of what he had and what he lost.
