BASIC APPEARANCE: Ashy tortoiseshell she-cat with pale amber eyes.
DETAILED APPEARANCE: Her appearance matches her pretty closely, with shaggy, tortoiseshell fur that is splattered with different shades of red, brown, and black. Her eyes can usually be defined as a dark, pale amber, though every cat would argue over the true shade, much like her personality.
PERSONALITY & DESCRIPTION: With different ways that you could describe a leader, you would hope that they would be mature and impartial. And in many ways, Ashenstar fits this description quite well. But the truth is, it really depends on the cat. In many ways, Ashenstar can take any situation and do what needs to be done. Rarely is anything a surprise to her. Such acts can make her work well in the face of danger, but on the other hand, she can also take her own wishes too far and in desperation, cross some lines that aren’t meant to be crossed. In the moons since becoming leader, she has grown increasingly unhinged as she has detached herself from her clanmates, hoping that without distractions, she might be able to serve her Clan more efficiently. This readiness to be of help to her clanmates does not mean she is very understanding, however. She is stubborn in her own way, more often than not following her own beliefs when faced with a decision that some would oppose. Accurate to her cold gaze, her mindset has taken a darker turn since becoming leader and discovering her birth was a mistake, leading her to become reckless in some areas of her life. As far as she will go to protect her clanmates, she chooses to avoid personal relationships of any kind in fear that they will only drag her down. In her mind, walking alone is the only way to make sure things get done, and you remain safe. It takes a toll on her, of course, but her Clan comes first before everything else, and if she must give up her own happiness to ensure their safety, then so be it.
