Ebonystream -- WarriorBlending with the shadows of camp sat Ebonystream, smoldering and boiling over at the thought of her brother and how he could so naively accept the torments that the younger cats of RavenClan would fire at them. "Vampire bat" they would call her, mocking those massive ears that so bluntly stuck out from the top of her skull, and those oblong canines that furtively peeked from underneath her muzzle, as if they were shyly saying "hello". The youngsters would hush each other, whispering in low and venomous voices that she could probably overhear them with such massive sonar-like ears. She wanted to gut them, all of them. But she couldn't let them think that they were weighing her down with such insults, it would ruin her regal and indestructible image. With time, she would teach them their lesson. She would leave a lasting impression when she got her paws on them, a conversation so intense that even their ancestors would feel the burn. And her brother, Galerunner-- he'd learn shame. He'd feel sheepish for not acting on the matter sooner. Settling down, the regal-appearing warrior tucked her paws beneath her slender chest, her massive ears perked in alertness as she surveyed her surroundings through sharp, scrutinizing eyes. She was no leader, no, but someday...they'd bow to her in respect, like she ruled these lands. All of them.

Arcticpool wanted to rail against something, a feeling she hadn't experienced in moons, since she lost two of her brothers in the flood. But even that feeling, hadn't been the same as the one she felt now, this was worse due to the fact that she was no longer a kit, she was a grown warrior. She had been informed that her mother was ill, something that worried the white she-cat endlessly since her mother was so close to her kitting.
Storming away from the nursery, where she had been denied entrance, Arcticpool didn't notice Ebonystream in the shadows and nearly yelped as she noticed the other warriors tail only a second before she would have stepped on it. "Sorry" she muttered, her own tail-tip twitching back and forth from her aggravated state. Her dual colored eyes glanced at the other she-cat, her right ear flicking as she wondered if the other warrior would lash out at her, though she wasn't entirely unwelcome to the idea at the present.

Irritability was contagious, and if it was considered a pathogen...well, then Ebonystream's immune system could be considered weak. Tension rippled across camp, spreading to and fro like waves in a condensed pond, reflecting across more and more cats until it turned into a choppy sea. While not typically bothered by the problems of others (unless they were direct insults), the coal she-cat couldn't help but to feel her muscles tightening and her headaches increasing in frequency and intensity.
The spider-limbed warrior rose to her paws like a demon emerging from the depths of the darkest of underworlds, her eyes narrowed into slits as her glare met Arcticpool's. "Apology accepted." With her tone stone-cold, it wasn't entirely clear the words that Ebonystream spoke were completely true. Indeed, the pale warrior didn't tread on her thin tail and therefore didn't really have a reason to apologize, but Ebonystream...well, she'd never back down from a fight, even with a clanmate.
Especially when she was feeling like this.

Arcticpool would later be appalled at her actions, taking her anger out at someone who didn't deserve it, but at the current moment she couldn't care one way or another. Her fur bristled at the way the other warrior responded to her apology. "What nipped you today? Not like I actually did anything" she snapped at the other warrior, her entire demeanor stiff and slightly hostile.
Her plumy tail lashed once as she gave a single effort to rein in her temper, her anger at what was happening wasn't something she should take out on her clanmates.

The warrior stretched on her long limbs as her fur bristled and the muscles in her legs began to tighten due to the increase of blood flow. Ebonystream squared her shoulders with those of her fellow warrior, those calculating eyes burning into the odd-colored pools of the white she-cat. "A little white furball did. And I'll happily nip her back." She spoke her words slowly and coldly, with those lips peeled back into a snarl to reveal those infamous canines of unusual proportions.
From across camp, Galerunner observed the hostile warriors of clashing colors, his ears perked with concern and his legs prepared to spring into action to separate them in necessary. He really hoped his sister was "all bark and no bite" as per usual, but the black molly was as unpredictable as she was grumpy.
Feeling her brother's gaze burn into her coat only made Ebonystream's temper heighten. She didn't need that coward as a safety net!

"Or no one can nip anyone...unless it's for fun, of course," Wolfpeak intervened calmly, flicking his own over-sized ears with a grin. "Day's too nice to be at each other's throats, right?" The larger grey tom had been walking by to stretch his legs when he caught wind of their tiff. Normally he minded his own business, but things had already been tense around camp and he knew that any kind of actual fight that might break out would only make things worse. It was already difficult for him to step out and escape the suffocating air of camp because eyes were always watching. At this point, patrols were nearly his only sense of peace.

Wolfpeak's arrival had been most opportune, as Arcticpool had been about to take a swipe. Her gaze flicked to the tom and took a step away from Ebonystream, her tail tip flicking back and forth. Wolfpeak was one of the very few cats that she was hesitant to even mention issues with her mother, considering what had happened with his own. She remembered her mother talking about it when she had been younger.
"You're probably right" she mewed tersely, her gaze flicking away, and shifting back towards the nursery before focusing back on the two cats she was near once more.

The warrior's temper was always hot, no words could extinguish that inner flame of hers that had burned for countless agonizing moons. The bat-eared Ebonystream took a bold step forward with a wild session of violent tail lashes, her slender form leaning forward as if she was desperate for this fight. "Oh no, every day is a good day for being at someone's throat. That's the life of a warrior, anyways. And I am always prepared. I welcome the fight."
Her eyes were intense, almost crazed from the thrill and sheer adrenaline. Her rage had been built up for too many moons, it made her feel as if she was going to burst.
The more she held off, the greater her explosion would be.

Wolfpeak stared at Ebonystream, unblinking and unafraid. He was sure that there was a significant part of her that meant it, but he wasn't sure she was totally aware of her own feelings. Why would she feel any desire to hurt a clanmate, especially one that hadn't harmed her before, to his knowledge? It sounded more like she was fighting something inside herself, and projecting her feelings to everyone around her. "And what would that accomplish?" he asked simply, no scorn or teasing.

Arcticpool felt her fur ripple at the she-cats words, her gaze narrowed on the other warrior, wondering if she would actually fight with a clan-mate. She did know that her own anger had been close, nearly sending her towards taking a swipe but with Wolfpeak's interference she had been ashamed that she had come that close to doing so. She nodded in agreement with Wolfpeak's question, refraining from adding any fuel to the fire that she had partially lit.

Sniffing, the thin molly raised her chin, revealing those lengthy fangs that always poked out from underneath her muzzle. The muscles in her stomach were taut, remaining strained in case the action that Ebonystream so hungrily desired came into play. But these clanmates...they were taught better than to play with fire. A real disappointment, but that never kept the aggressive and ever-so-persistent feline from trying.
"It would give me the respect I have deserved since I was a rejected kitten." Her words came out slowly, her tone almost as cold and inhospitable as the northernmost realms of the world. She would make her message clear, and she'd stop at nothing to finally win over the reverence of her clanmates.
Even if it meant that she'd have to strike fear into their hearts.

"Attacking your clanmates won't give you respect," Wolfpeak replied honestly. "I think you'd find that quite the opposite happened. Sure, some might fear you, but don't confuse that with respect. No one wants to live with a clanmate that might turn on them at any moment. Also, more importantly, I doubt Ashenstar would put up with it. You might find yourself banished if she decides you're incapable of coexisting with your clanmates." He paused for a moment as he chose his next words. Wolfpeak's tone was even and calm, as if he were just having a simple conversation with Ebonystream, but he made sure to keep his voice low enough that the conversation stayed between the three of them. "And you'll likely find sooner rather than later that no one with that kind of attitude deserves respect. I'm not so sure you even respect yourself. You want to be respected as a warrior? Be a great warrior, but part of being a great warrior means recognizing that you're a part of all of this. Not the only part."

"You speak as if you know perfection, of what it means to be a flawless warriors." Regardless of Wolfpeak's attempts at peace and overall meaningful speech, Ebonystream was unfazed. She thrust her muzzle forward and looked him square in the eyes, with the fur along her spine remaining fluffed. Would she attack him? It'd be likely, but he didn't seem like the type to join in the tussle. He seemed intelligent, meaning that the molly would get nothing out of the scuffle. A little bit of a release, but certainly not enough to be worth the trouble.
"Let me tell you something, noble one." Teeth bared, Ebonystream leaned forward to where she was dangerously close to his ears. She spoke low, as if telling the tom some dirty, horrifying secret. "We all have our sins. At least I am willing to embrace my own and act upon them."

"You wanna know mine? I'm lazy," Wolfpeak grinned with a shrug. "No one said anything of perfection or that you had to be flawless to be a great warrior, Ebonystream. Use your flaws to your advantage, especially because you could use yours constructively if you put your mind to it." Where Ebonystream was unfazed by his advice, he was equally unfazed by her aggression and hostility. It wasn't even that he was confident that she wouldn't hurt him, just that he was indifferent to it.

"If you're looking to offer me sentiment now, or make me feel guilty for who I am...you're barking up the wrong tree." Curling a lip once again, Ebonystream suddenly reeled away from the silver tom and whipped around only to turn once more and pace like a mad dog. Her strides were swift, yet her eyes remained trained on Wolfpeak, as if she was anticipating (or even hoping) for an attack. She paused for a heartbeat to respond, while her tail began to lash once more. "I am not here for a pep talk. I am here to fight until I can fight no more!"

Wolfpeak stopped himself from rolling his eyes and instead turned to walk away, flicking his tail. To him, it became obvious that the conversation was over because it felt less like Ebonystream was listening and more like she beginning to put words in his mouth and interject meaning into his words that were the opposite of what he meant. Ignorance is bliss, right? "If you want a fight so bad, why don't you take up guard on the outsider border, hm? Fight someone that's worth fighting. 'Cause you're not supposed to be here to fight us. If you want to continue the conversation at a point where you're significantly calmer, you're welcome to find me," he responded, friendly smile and a wink in tow.

Ugh- she couldn't bear all of these "words of wisdom" any longer! It was time to see if this tom could fight as good as he could talk. Darting forward with her ears pinned and teeth revealed, Ebonystream prepared to strike him, because that wink had really gotten her steamed. "You can take your recommendations and shove them up your-"
A flash of ginger and white caused all color to vanish from Ebonystream's face. Exiting the warrior's den was Scorchtail, moving confidently and ignoring the scene that the violent warrior was attempting to cause. The blissful ignorance was probably intentional, knowing that it would catch Ebonystream's attention and get her gears grinding.
And it did. Huffing, the dark she-cat was frozen in place, sending a seething glare in Scorchtail's direction.
