Bella was pushing herself thru the undergrowth, her nose twitching as she looked around the area. It was a new place but it was also relaxing, being away from places that held so many painful memories for her and her family. She looked over her shoulder at her sisters and her daughter, her eyes softening as they settled on the grey fur of Dawn. Her bright light, Bella was convinced that she wouldn't be here without having her daughter to look after. Shaking out her fur, she focused once more "any signs of other cats?" she asked, wondering if they would encounter anyone but also wary of doing so.

Kressida made a humming sound as she shook her head, hoping that Bella could hear her up at the front from where she was keeping guard at the back of the group. She felt most comfortable either at the front or the back of their patrol so she could keep her family protected from either side, making sure she could jump into a fight at the first sign of them being ambushed. She'd been keeping her ears pricked for any hint of other cats but found none, with the exception of a faint scent mark a little while ago there was no sign that they weren't alone still.

Deja walked between Bella and Kress, sticking to Dawn's side like a cobwebs stuck to one's fur. She adored her niece and wanted more than anything for Dawn to grow up with the freedom that she and her sisters hadn't had before Crowen's death. Her ears were pricked, gaze lightly flitting over their surroundings, perhaps the most relaxed looking out of all her sisters. "I hope that if we do run into anyone they will be friendly." She muttered, casting her mind back to the nameless tom she had kept running into before.

Dawn trotted alongside Deja, curiously looking about as the group walked. "We never meet /anyone/," she complained, flashing a playful look to her aunt. It didn't really matter, though. Her mom and her aunts were all the world she needed. But she did wish she had friends her own age. Whenever they talked about things she hadn't been there for, or didn't remember, and it made her feel lonely. "When are we stopping for today? Dusk?"

Bella felt her nose twitch with amusement at Dawn's good-natured complaining "some would count that as lucky" she teased before focusing on the second question, her gaze flicking towards the sky. "Maybe a little before, we'll need to hunt before settling down" she mewed.
