Cyankit blinked open her eyes, her nose twitching as she looked around the nursery. She spotted Echostar sleeping with her own kits before focusing on her mother and her own brother. She noted that Driftfire was asleep and didn't wish to wake her up, so instead set her sights on her brother. She managed to climb to her paws, teetering only slightly before she nudged Beetlekit's shoulder with her muzzle "Beetlekit" she whined "I wanna go out, wake up" she mewed in his ear, keeping up with her nudging of on his shoulder.

Beetlekit was fast asleep when he felt Cyankit nuzzle him. He groaned, pulling a paw over his eyes. "Imma 'sleep," he groaned, rolling against their mother and stretching. He guessed he wasn't asleep. Slowly, he blinked his eyes open, glaring at Cyankit. "Stop it," he mewed, pushing her as he stumbled to his paws. "I'll get you back." Through a hazy gaze, he nudged her shoulder, stumbling past her towards the entrance. "C'mon, let's fight! I'll win!"

Cyankit felt her whiskers twitch at Beetlekit's reluctance to wake up and didn't let up until he was standing. She grinned at his glare as she stumbled back a few steps at his push. "So sure of that" she chirped as she followed him, stumbling briefly over her own paws as she slipped out of the nursery after her brother.

"I'm bigger!" Beetlekit replied, turning on her as they entered the clearing. "Okay, so I'll be the fox, and you'll be the warrior!" It was somewhat early, and few cats were walking around camp, but Beetlekit didn't think to lower his voice. He bounced happily, doing his best to growl like a fox. "Grr, I'm big and I eat kits for breakfast!" he snarled, charging at Cyankit.

Cyankit felt her tail weave back and forth behind her in excitement as Beetlekit stated the game. She did her best growl as she dived out of the way of his charge, her eyes flashing with excitement. "You'll never win" she crowed before charging forward herself, her fur bushing out.

Beetlekit stumbled as he missed Cyankit, scrabbling in the dirt and rounding on her as she charged towards him. "Oh, silly kit!" he cried, lifting up his head and laughing evily. "You cannot think to win against the-" Cyankit slammed into him before he could finish, and he squealed in laughter, hitting her head lightly with his paw. "Oh, the life...it drains from me..." he called dramatically, slumping against the ground.

Cyankit grinned as she scurried forward and placed a paw on Beetlekit's shoulder "I win! Here lies proof of my victory!" she crowed, only to squeak and duck behind her brothers bulk as Echostar poked her head out of the nursery and narrowed her eyes at them "keep it down you two, it's still early in the morning" the leader-queen growled before disappearing back inside.

Beetlekit shot up as Echostar growled at them, fur on end. His eyes glanced about the clearing, spotting a few stern glances from cats gathering for an early hunting patrol. He looked over at his sister. "M-maybe we should play a different game," he whispered. "Secret...uh...secret WillowClan spies?" He'd figure out the rules as he went along. "We have to gather intel?"

Cyankit relaxed slightly as Beetlekit spoke "okay" she agreed, ready to move on from the game that had got them in a small amount of trouble. "Should we start near there?" She whisperer, indicating the warriors den, figuring that would be the best bet for gathering 'intel'.

Beetlekit nodded eagerly, glad Cyankit was helping him make the game up as they went along. "My name is Water, uh...Waterclaws!" he whispered, unsheathing his claws as he finally decided. "I'm the strongest warrior in WillowClan and I'm here to spy on AspenClan so we can come and steal all their prey!" He started off towards the warriors' den. "Who are you gonna be?"
