DETAILED APPEARANCE: Akai is an average-sized tom with ruddy-brown tabby fur, a white jaw, and flashing cold, blue eyes that are always focused like those of an eagle. Thick black stripes along with naturally-occurring golden highlights cover most of his pelt, one that is always seemingly messy and tousled. He has sharp and defined features that make him unusually attractive, and with a rough and wild look he is certainly eye-catching.
PERSONALITY & DESCRIPTION: A voice comparable to liquid honey and an alluring gaze are known to capture and draw cats unknowingly to his whims, making him a natural leader. Cold with no conscience, he has no issues in the use—and disposal—of cats for his personal benefit and gain. He often hides behind a sweet and gentle shield when luring his victims in, entrapping them so they cannot escape. By the time realization of who he truly is occurs, he has already ensnared his victims like a snake squeezing the life out of its prey. Once cats are in his clutches, they have no choice but to follow him unquestioningly or face his maniacal wrath from the tips of his claws. Akai has always defined himself by his patience, out-waiting and out-witting any cat that he has come across. His origins remains unknown to all and he keeps it that way, having interwoven lies within the truth for so long that he himself no longer knows the difference. The ruddy tabby is truly delusional when it comes to what he doesn't have, awakening an unending urge to have full and total control. Over what has no clear answer, and he gives no indication as to what that might be. Perhaps it is the control over the fragility of life with the full knowledge that it can be created or ended in an instant. Or perhaps it is to show the voices calling out to him that have since faded to memory that he was in command of himself all along. His many sleepless nights and the instantaneous switch from composure to instability show the irreversible deterioration of his mind and a lack of any moral capacity. His psychosis creates an existential wall of separation from reality and fantasy, where he exists merely in the middle of a dark, ceaseless void between the two. Akai has no hope of seeing the light of normalcy that was never his to begin with, locked away deep in a place not even his subconscious can reach.
