BASIC APPEARANCE: Brown, red, and white she-cat with green eyes.

DETAILED APPEARANCE: Flareheart is a red, brown, and white colored she-cat with olive green eyes. Her muzzle, chest, belly, forepaws, and back legs are all white while her forelegs, most of her head, and the rest of her body is a mixture of brown and red, all in different shades. Her ears have small tufts of dark brown, almost black, fur on the tip while her tail is mainly brown with a few odd patches of red among them. Flareheart's fur is long compared to some cats but she can't be considered fully long hair as her fur doesn't poof out like many long-haired cats, though her tail has longer hair than the rest of her fur.

PERSONALITY & DESCRIPTION: Flareheart was a rather sweet cat when she was young, but that started changing rapidly. Near the end of her apprenticeship, her brother Zephyrpaw disappeared, causing a big rift in Flareheart's family that was already stretched thin after the death of her parents. Ever since Flareheart has been walking on a razors edge, worried that her brother Shrikewind would also disappear on her. This led to her being suspicious that he would disappear on her and caused her to become hesitant in forming relationships with anyone. She spent moons wavering between fear of being rejected and wanting to find someone that she can count on. She believed she had found that when she and a tom named Creektooth got close, though they didn't flaunt their relationship around as both were unsure where it would lead, mainly cause Flareheart was convinced that if they made their relationship public she would lose him. Unfortunately, they never got the chance to even make it known, as a few days after she found out she was carrying his kits, he died while fishing in the river, an unlucky incident that ended with Creektooth drowning after being hit with a branch. His death further cemented the idea in her mind that those she loves will all end up leaving her and has caused her to reject her own kits, the fear that they will grow up and leave her as well has caused her to push them away as a defensive measure for something she thinks will happen in the future. She now spends as much time avoiding the two as possible, she just couldn't conceive the thought that there could be others to abandon later on so she pushed them away before they could do so. Her relationship with Shrikewind has steadily declined over the following moons after her kits were born, him seeing her as a disappointment to her kits. Any remaining feelings of family love for Shrikewind started to dwindle down as a the moons passed and then the remaining feelings got shoved down into the far corner of her heart after he came at her about her treatment of her kits. Including him throwing insults at Creektooth for not being there for his kits, Flareheart snapped at that point and attacked her brother, demanding answers from him regarding his kits, intending on using the information over him as a way to punish him as he tried to punish her. After that confrontation, she pushed her emotions to the side, practically just forgetting them as she studied both her brother and the kits he admitted to having, wondering how to turn this information in her favor. Her mind and heart have turned to a more cold and calculated outlook, though she continues to play the part of the paranoid and distraught cat that so many have see and dismissed. Flareheart is a good hunter but an excellent fighter, her paranoia that she will left alone driving her to lengths in order to ensure that she can defend herself from any dangers that she might come across in her life. She spends hours a day practicing fighting when she's not training with her mentor or do any patrolling or anything else for the clan. She will defend her clan but she does not exactly trust what other cats say to her.
