Echostar raised an eyebrow at his joke, her gaze scanning him quickly, noting the slightly forced smirk. "well guess theres one thing we can't fix. I doubt you can stop yourself from snarking at our clanmates" she teased, hoping that inciting banter would help wash away the memories that undoubtedly popped up.

Jaggedpeak snorted, some of the tension leaking out of him, "A lot of them have it coming if you ask me." He flicked her shoulder with his tail, a familiar gleam returning to his gaze as he relaxed again. "A few of the apprentices still dare each other to see who can get closest before I hiss." He never really meant any harm, a part of him was intensely amused by the younger cats and the game they had made around him.

Echostar felt her nose twitch "I'm not sure who started that little game, but they are playing with fire" she mewed, feeling amusement at the thought, though she knew that somedays it would have been better if they left the warrior alone. Echostar brushed her shoulder against Jaggedpeak's as they continued walking, feeling slightly better but more relaxed than she could remember.
