DETAILED APPEARANCE: Myra is a brown tabby she cat with a white chest, yellow eyes, and long fluffy fur. She’s of a slim, lithe build.

PERSONALITY & DESCRIPTION: Just run. It’s funny how two words can change one’s entire life, how one moment can define one’s entire being. These words, spoken in a desperate, stolen moment, never left Myra, and perhaps she would have settled down long ago without them. When Myra was a young, she was abandoned by her parents at an early age. Afraid and alone, Myra was ecstatic when the charismatic Akai offered her a home. However as Myra watched the group prepare for battle, the timid, compassionate she-cat realized she could not meet their expectations, and feared she would be disposed of in turn. If it wasn’t for her friendship with another member of the group, Elektra, this likely would have occurred. Luckily, Elektra agreed to help her sneak out of the territory, and the two planned to fake an animal attack to cover Myra’s tracks. Unfortunately, their efforts drew a pack of coyotes to the spot instead, and the fake attack became real. Myra ran as Elektra faced the pack, and when she heard her friend scream in pain, she was certain Elektra was dead. So she took her last words to heart, wandering the wilderness to avoid any chance of Akai finding her. Myra grew to love this life, travelling far and wide to see all that she could. She became an incredible navigator, with extensive knowledge of the lands outside the Clans borders, and while the fearful memories faded, habits remained. Myra remained a skittish, anxious cat, quick to run from a fight and terrified of encountering others. Eventually she met Minnow, and the two became mates. Minnow allowed Myra to become her full, vibrant self, and each day Myra spends by her side, she feels braver. When the two were given an opportunity to adopt a kit, they eagerly agreed, and welcomed Baxter into their lives. Myra is a loving, doting mother, who would do anything for the health and happiness of her son. She feels very negatively towards his birth mother after what she’s learned, and together she and Minnow have shielded Baxter from the ugly truth of his early kithood. When their son fell sick, the two sought help at Akai’s old camp, and Myra was shocked to discover that not only was Elektra alive, but she and her mate Lady were leading the remnants of Akai’s group as a sanctuary for those who needed it. This realization, and the sense of security that came with the knowledge of Akai’s death, allowed Myra to become a much more confident cat. She is polite, yet stands up for what she believes in, and no longer balks at threats to her and her loved ones. She has a very dignified presence, and she’s an easy cat to carry a conversation with. However, she does not tolerate those who harm and abuse others, and sometimes refuses to speak to them. Myra worries more than she needs to, especially when Baxter and Minnow are involved. She is a wise cat with plenty of stories to tell, and plenty more adventures to be had. Despite all that’s happened to her and her loved ones, Myra’s happy, and wouldn’t change anything about her past.
