PERSONALITY & DESCRIPTION: Faintlight is a walking contradiction to anyone that gets the chance to meet him. He knows what he wants, but doesn’t know how to get it. He so desperately wants to be noticed, but he is completely content being in the background… at least sometimes. He was named Faintkit for his faint, pale blue eyes that can be missed completely if you aren’t looking for them. His parents hadn’t known that it would also match his personality as well when he became an apprentice. He preferred to stay in the back; a speck of dust that no one noticed—where he can be alone with his thoughts. A fading light at the start of the new and exciting journey that was apprenticeship. Some might be led to believe that he cannot speak, but quite the contrary, actually. He has a developed vocabulary that mostly demonstrates how much he prefers to listen rather than voice his own thoughts. This is the cat that will listen to you rant and rave over something that happened yesterday, and he won’t bat an eye no matter the circumstance. This makes him appear to be more of a follower—someone who will allow another cat to take the reins while he follows loyally and without question. He shouldn’t be taken as a pushover, though. Faintlight has the hidden strength that he finds no need to show on an everyday basis. His thoughts can sometimes come across as dark, a surprise to those who assume he is simply shy, and every so often they might be on the receiving end of his fantasies that involve him striking out at those who hurt him most. Maybe he really doesn’t know what he wants, but he won’t stop looking until he finds an actual purpose.
