NAME: Ivyrose
RANK: Warrior
AFFILIATION: RavenClan
IMMEDIATE KIN:
Sandstone (mother)
Darkfang (father)
Cougarfang (brother)
Dappledkit (sister)
Desertstorm (brother)
BASIC APPEARANCE: Black patched tortoiseshell she-cat with pale green eyes.
DETAILED APPEARANCE: A dark tortoiseshell she-cat that one may mistake for pure black, until they notice the faint sandy patches along her back. Once turned, however, you can see the full extent of those colors, with a good portion of her neck and above her eye being the color of sand. Her pale green eyes are the highlight of her face, making her sleek form look even sharper.
PERSONALITY & DESCRIPTION: It is very easy to judge at first sight. To believe a cat is selfish just because they will not give up their piece of prey, or to believe a cat is a saint simply because they gave their share to a friend. It is so easy to paint a simple picture, to put everyone in a box and separate them based on who you think they are. In a way, Ivyrose feels that way about herself—don’t judge her, and she won’t judge you. But it is the most blatant lie that she will ever tell. This she-cat takes many things for granted. Her mother, her healthy siblings, her place in the Clan. The death of her father before her birth means very little to her. She never knew him anyway, so how is she to feel bad about it? Her opinions are made clear at almost every opportunity, and she makes sure you can hear her. She wants to be treated like an adult, with the intelligence to make good decisions that would make her a great leader. While she likes to think she can cover her faults with her “redeeming” traits, the truth is, she has philosophies that are represented by large holes in her arguments. She could make for a great leader? Well, she could, if only she respected the rules enough to actually follow them. She’s not judgmental? Well, maybe that would be believable if she didn’t gossip as soon as another cat turned their back. In reality, she is a thorn in the side of any cat who chooses to give her attention, something that she desperately craves for no other reason than it makes her feel whole. This suggests that she may just wish to remain close to other cats, but with her methods going above and beyond what would be considered right, she hasn’t really figured out just how she should be taking care of herself. Maybe with time she could outgrow it, but with what she was born into, it’s hard for her not to take advantage.
