PERSONALITY & DESCRIPTION: Mumblefall is most definitely a work in progress, something that is blatantly obvious to anyone who has spent more than a few moments with him. However, sometimes they won’t even bother to do that, since their first impression of him might not be the greatest. Mumblefall is an awkward cat, to say the least. In a way, it seems like he has yet to grow into his too-large paws, just from his uncertainty alone. Give him time to think, and Mumblefall can show you just how much he knows. But even without that precious time, this medicine cat is pretty intelligence. As a kit, he didn’t have much going for him, and he did not take hunting as a good outlet for his eagerness, nor did he turn to fighting to put his ever-present thoughts to good use in battle strategy. Very early on in his apprenticeship, his mentor noticed Mumblefall’s lack of interest and problems paying attention while training, and this caused him to fall behind pretty quickly. A single trip to the medicine cat’s den seemed to turn the tables. His tendency to space out slowly turned into the realization that he was not meant to train as a warrior despite showing promise in all aspects; his heart belonged to the medicine den, where he felt completely at home and could focus completely without losing interest. He is a very kind and curious cat, sometimes bordering on the edge of being considered too forgiving. One might say he tries a little too hard to see the good in others, but this does not mean he lets other cats step all over him. He knows when to stand up for himself, and when to hold his tongue. More often than not, he feels that letting it be is the best course of action, but other times, he is able prove to others that even as a medicine cat, he is not below anyone else.
