DETAILED APPEARANCE: A dusty-gray tabby tom with hazy-green eyes and the first-born of three, Shrikestar is not noticeably eye-catching. He has a well-filled frame with strong legs and a long tail; his build helps him catch large fish by being able to pull them out of the water with ease. He is also known to be a powerful jumper as well because of it, as it helps him in clearing the small streams that crisscross WillowClan territory.
PERSONALITY & DESCRIPTION: A known pessimist, Shrikestar often has a hard time looking at things positively; this mindset also plagues him with uncertainty about the future and his own abilities. Despite this, he has a quiet and undying flame of inner-strength within him. The dusty tabby does have a hard time finding it, often times losing sight of it more than not. However, when he does find it, he intuitively acts and responds better to whatever situation kindled it. Described in another sense, when push comes to shove, he forgets how to back down. As Shrikekit, he loved playing and dreaming with his siblings where they decided they would one day be the best warriors together. When apprenticeship came along, that all changed. He found himself drifting away from his brother, Zephyrpaw, and growing ever closer to his sister, Flareheart. When he started to realize that he appreciated her company more, the selfish side of him grew and he pushed his brother far away from him. This changed when his brother vanished one day, leaving them with a chilling warning that blamed them for it. Since then, he has drifted away from his sister too after distrust and superstition at what would happen to her and him rooted itself. Occasional guilt hampers him every so often, filling his dreams with variances of regret. Despite this, he will not go back on his pride to solve their shattered family; the dusty tabby simply does not know what he can or even should do to fix it. Having a sense of misplaced adventure, Shrikestar likes to explore things that are new to him and things that may even be considered forbidden. While this too causes him hidden shame, it is often overridden by the exuberance of doing something different, daring. Because it is almost like an addiction, the dusty tabby doesn’t know how to control himself in such a manner. This impulsiveness continues his negative cycle and whether he learns to take control of his life or not is something he worries about as he lives in uneasiness of who he will become.
