Sidra is killed by Angel and her body is used as bait. Honey finds the body in time and all the young and injured are evacuated, while the rest climb the trees to buy them time to escape. The coyotes come to the camp, fuss about the cats in the trees, then follow after the cats who evacuated. Angel, Sea, and Ashbite step into camp to see if their plan worked, and Honey jumps down to ambush them. A fight ensues, and the noise draws the coyotes back. Everyone scrambles back up into the trees. Sea ends up surrounded by her enemies, while Honey and Angel end up in a tree together. Angel falls and is killed by the coyotes, possibly because she and Honey are still trying to kill each-other. Ashbite escapes and Sea is taken captive by the group. The coyotes leave, and the evacuated return.
