DETAILED APPEARANCE: In appearance, Shadebreeze is a large, long-furred black cat with half of his muzzle painted white—the same goes for his toes and chest, as well as random patches on his body. His intelligent eyes are a striking green, which fades to yellow around his pupil.
PERSONALITY & DESCRIPTION: Shadebreeze is one cat you would call a “realist.” In no way does he lack the ability to sympathize with others—but he does so in a way that some would find cold and mechanical. Although he does grieve for those lost as much as any other cat, he does so with a clear mind and the knowledge that nature has taken its course. He is very practical this way, choosing action over words. Although he does not take into consideration his stage presence, that and his open attitude make him approachable to those who are in need of assistance. Anyone who is familiar with him knows that he is committed, hard-working, and loyal to his Clan above all else. But even these traits can have a dark side—he can also be critical of others’ beliefs, and takes offense if cats freely break the warrior code without a justifiable reason. His demanding side—both for answers and to satisfy his own curiosity—can also bring scorn from his clanmates, sometimes unknown to him, who only acts in the service of his Clan. And predictable as this might make him, this tom can keep a secret—quite well, in fact. His word is kept no matter the circumstance. Regardless of who you are, he won’t breathe a word if he has promised not to. It makes him dependable especially to his brother, who he draws strength from every day. Although they can’t be any more different, they play off of each other well, and seeing as their father never took responsibility for them, the two of them learned how to care for themselves outside of their mother’s influence. But you can only do so much on your own, and with Shadebreeze’s lack of willingness to face his origins, it is only a matter of time before he hits a wall.
