Raincloud stretched her paws in front of her, her jaws stretched in a wide yawn as she exited the warriors den to greet the day. Her ears flicked as she looked around, she wasn't scheduled for a patrol until dusk, so had figured to go hunting a bit later on. At the moment, she decided to settle down in a sunny spot and started grooming her fur, purring softly at the sun that was soaking into her fur.

Lynxheart walked into the camp, his eyes searching for his mate until he found her. It had been awhile since they had spent anytime together, just the two of them, so he had pulled some strings. Stopping next to his mate and resting his head on his paws, he tapped her lightly. "Guess what?" he asked her, his eyes twinkling. "I get to spend the whole day with you." He stretched out as he explained to her the good news, purring out his glee.

The sound of pawsteps followed by the scent of Lynxheart had Raincloud purring, though she only turned her head when he tapped her. Her ears perked at his words, her eyes widening slightly before another purr broke from her chest "thats wonderful" she mewed as she rubbed her muzzle against his neck and shoulder.

Lynxheart grinned, enjoying the affection from his mate. “Is there anything you’d like to do?” He asked her, his smile never faltering. “We could go hunting, or just out into the territory?”

Raincloud grinned back, her eyes flickering with excitement. She thought over the different options before replying "let's just head out, see where we end up. It's been a while since the two of us have gone on a walk together" she mewed, a gentle smile settling over her features as she stretched out her paws in front of her briefly.
