PERSONALITY & DESCRIPTION:
It is commonly said that curiosity killed the cat, but in Twitchstep’s case it is paired with a strong sense of caution which is sure to keep him safe from harm. With a fawny-brown tabby pelt he can blend well into the undergrowth with the exception of his striking lime green eyes, allowing him to watch unnoticed for as long as he can stop fidgeting. His attention is captured by the simplest of things, from trying to find the first flowers in newleaf or spending a whole morning collecting enough moss to line every nest in the camp. This tom is very rarely found in camp, out and about AspenClan’s territory in order to keep his cabin fever at bay. He often sleeps in odd times and places, preferring to grab forty winks here and there than settle down for the whole night since his mind can never switch off for long enough. Unable to stand being in the same place for long he is always on the move, keeping himself entertained throughout the days though always making it home in time tofulfillhis duties in camp. Despite his straying tendencies he values the protection of the Clan and would never want to be truly alone, gaining comfort from being with other cats even though he prefers to keep himself to himself. For the most part Twitchstep is happy in his own company, but he is more likely to feel lonely when surrounded by other cats than when alone in a far corner of the territory. Sometimes he yearns for the same deep relationships that his Clanmates seem to develop with ease, though his social skills were never impressive and have only worsened as he’s grown up and apart from his siblings. Small talk frustrates him, finding casual conversation awkward as he is so bad at it, but when there is a focused topic he will talk happily for hours. Twitchstep would never change his wandering habits for any cat, but he would never say no to a fellow loner asking to join him.
