A Hello & Questions

Hello! I'm 20mia08, but ya'll can call me "Mia" (ironically not my real name). I'm a user considering joining this roleplay site, as I've been actively roleplaying warriors for...at least seven or so years? I've joined numerous roleplay sites, proboards and whatnot, and I'm looking to branch out to other sites, as a lot that I've participated on have gone inactive.
Personally, I am kinda extremely active.
I do have work and college, so I may not post every single day purely because of exhaustion.
SO, some questions before I 100% join and create my characters:
1. Any high ranks open? Yes, I am a new user, but I have plenty of proof of activity on other boards if needed. (Note: I'm not a big fan of MCs/MCAs. Deputy is my favorite.) I enjoy roleplaying a regular kit/apprentice/warrior, but it gets a little boring having the same rank over and over!
2. Is there a brief summary of recent plots for when/if I jump in? (This site is a lot more complex than the other proboards I'm on)
3. Is this place still active?
4. Are there any rules/regulations on character creation? My characters are realistic and not sue-ish at all, but I have an oriental shorthair that demands that she's created. She's a beautiful sass queen.
5. Where is a description of the setting? I understand that it takes place in Yellowstone, but that's all I've gotten so far.
6. Is there a Discord?
That's all I can come up with off of the top of my head, but I can guarantee that I'll have more eventually.
A little about me:
*I've always loved warrior cats, but I'm really not a cat person. Felines and I don't get along, and I'm allergic to them. Hooray?
*I don't always reread posts before publishing them because I am a tired mess. This post, which probably has a load of errors, is a perfect example.
*I'm in college with the intention of going to vet school.
*I am currently employed at an animal hospital, grooming and boarding while helping out the techs with whatever they need that I can legally do.
*I have a ferret that I absolutely adore. They are the best things to walk/wardance the planet.
*I dabble a little in feline genetics.
*I recently returned from a brief South Africa trip, and it's absolutely beautiful and it was an amaaaaaazing experience!
10/10 recommend trying Impala if you ever get the chance.
And that's about as interesting as I get!
