Q. HOW DO I ADD A CHARACTER?
Q. HOW DO I BECOME A LEADER / DEPUTY / MEDICINE CAT?
A. Usually you cannot ask for a high position. When it comes time and a high position is open, an application thread will be made where you can apply for one. Most of the time the people chosen are those active on the site, involved with plots, and trusted by the current staff. Anyone is allowed to apply for a high position, but it is highly suggested that you roleplay a bit beforehand so the staff can observe your activity level.
Q. CAN MY CHARACTER BE HOMOSEXUAL / BISEXUAL / ETC.?
A. Yes, you are allowed to have characters that are bisexual/homosexual/asexual/etc.
Q. CAN MY CHARACTER HAVE A DISABILITY OR MENTAL ILLNESS?
A. Yes, you may have a character with a disability. These include blindness, deafness, limp foot, etc. However, you must get prior permission from a staff member in order to create said character. Mental illnesses are a little less restrictive, but please make sure you are able to play it realistically and it doesn't overly affect other characters or roleplayers.
Q. WHEN CAN MY CHARACTER HAVE A MATE?
A. Leaders, deputies, and warriors are allowed to have a mate after they have completed two threads together. A "complete" thread is one with at least 15 replies. After that, your characters will officially be considered mates.

Q. WHEN / HOW CAN MY CHARACTER HAVE KITS?
A. You must have a total of at least three complete threads with the character's mate in order to have kits. Apprentices are only allowed with permission, but please be aware that it will be physically harder on cats so young and not recommended to do very often without that knowledge. Characters must be at least 9 moons old to have kits.
Q. HOW DOES HAVING KITS / ADOPTING OUT KITS WORK?
A. For the time-being we have restricted litters to 1-4 kits, partially to reduce the chance of incest and partially to ensure that they get roleplayers. Each litter should have only one father. Cats do not have to have an official mate to have kits (meaning flings are allowed) and cats are allowed to be a surrogate for another. First litters are allowed as long as queens and kits are not banned within a Clan, but any litters beyond that should be confirmed by a Clan leader for the reasons stated above. If you would like your character to have kits, you can follow the litter application found here.
Q. HOW DOES AGING WORK ON APC?
A. To keep things fair and to keep up with who needs to be promoted, we have an age system on APC to keep ages consistent. Every two weeks in our world equals one month (moon) in the warriors world. Every 1st and 16th of the month, the ages are updated accordingly. During major plots where regular roleplay is not possible, ages can sometimes be "paused" until the plot is over and normal events can continue.
Q. HOW / WHEN ARE CHARACTERS PROMOTED?
A. Character ages are monitored by the staff to be sure of when cats will be moved up. At the age of 6 moons, kits will be moved up to apprentices, and apprentices are then made warriors around 10+ moons. Along with being the correct age, to become a warrior, you must also have completed at least one training thread with a minimum of 15 replies. If your character is the correct age and has completed their thread(s), you can include that on the activity check and they will be promoted after it has finished.
